Our Cosmetology, Skin Care and Nail Care courses cover all technical and practical subjects as prescribed by the criteria
set forth by the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology.
Our Cosmetolgy (1600 hours) curriculum
includes areas such as Haircutting, Hair Coloring, Permanent Waving, Chemical Straightening, Thermal and Wet Hairstyling,
Facials, Makeup, Waxing, Manicuring, Pedicuring and Artificial Nails.
Skin Care (600 hours)
students will learn makeup, eyelash application, body waxing and facial to treat any skin conditions. Our school has partnership
with Dermalogica, which will give our students opportunities to participate in the undergraduate student days at the International
Dermal Institute. We also arrange guest speakers from various skin care and makeup companies to give presentations.
Our skin care treatment center will help prepare students to be ready for professional careers as estheticians through various
hands-on opportunities.
Manicuring students (400 hours) will learn sanitation, disinfection, water
and oil manicures, pedicures, acrylic, liquid and powder, nail tips, nail wraps and nail arts. Students also learn spa
pedicures and disinfection of spa pedicures in accordance to the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology standards.
After
completing the required hours from the selected program, the students will receive a diploma and will be able to take the
California State Board examination for Cosmetology. After passing the required exams, a student will obtain a license to
practice in their chosen discipline(s).
